SALT, the drama team of Caring First Church, 5401 Mitchell Ave, St. Joseph, MO, just returned from Denver, CO where they competed at the National Fine Arts Festival. They were invited to the national competition after receiving a Superior with Honors at the district level in January in Columbia, MO.
A Total of 16 students performed three different human videos (dramas acting the lyrics of a song), and all received a certificate of Superior (one of the highest rankings). Salt is under the direction of former Fine Arts National participant and Superior ward winner, Cecelia Pecora. Salt will be performing during all three nights of Reality Check, a back-to-school youth conference, on September 19th-21st.
