In our Tuesday night service of Reality Check 2005 we challenged over 160 students to respond to the call of reaching their school campus for Christ by becoming a Campus Missionary. Fourty-one students answered the call! Here is the breakdown: John Glen Elementary - 1; Benton High School - 5; Maryville High School - 5; Mound City High School - 5; Truman Middle School - 6; Spring Garden - 5; Central High School - 15.
I'm so proud of everyone who took a stand and answered the call of God to be a missionary to their school campus. However, now it's time for you to get to work. You need to GROW in the five basic commitments – the G5.

“No Christian is greater than his/her prayer life.” You need to talk to God about your friends before you talk to your friends about God. Remember your 5 friend challenge. Write those names down somewhere that you'll see them everyday and pray for them.
2. LIVE!
The way you live speaks louder than the words you say. Nothing does more damage to the Kingdom of God than a hypocrite. Walk your talk or get a life!
3. TELL!
“Go and make disciples.” Don’t leave the job half done. Inviting a friend to your youth group is a start. Praying with them to receive Christ as their Savior is awesome! But now it's your responsibility to help them grow through relational discipleship. Experience the Christian life together.
4. SERVE!
It's time to go to your school principle and start a Campus Club. Here is a great website resourse that will give you everything you need to get moving. Don't forget to talk to your youth pastor too. They really know what their doing! www.yausa.com
5. GIVE!
You will have to shift your schedule, expend some energy, and maybe even invest some money. It may cost you but the rewards are eternal! Give it all you got! Your friends and your school are worth it.
