Where's the Hope?

Future? Life is a bore. Does anybody love me? Put down. Let me be me! Divorce. What's the point? What in the world can I do? Sex. Cheating. Lying. Drugs. Try it just once. There's no one I can trust. What's the right thing to do?

What we really need is HOPE...Life...Mercy...Love...Security.

Student just like you are looking for hope. Some look to education, others search for it in music and media. Some look to alcohol and drugs, other try to find it in relationships and sex. However, some like you, know exactly where to find it. You find it in a daily relationship with Jesus Christ.

The challenge now for you is to let your friends know that there is hope. How are you doing that? Are you seeing the oportunities around you everyday at school? Have you taken advantage of them?

Here is a website that will help - www.hopenet.net - it's the web site for the Book Of Hope campaign. It is an interactive evangelistic Web site that targets youth by dealing with nine felt needs: Self-esteem, Love, Intimacy, Family, Health & Addiction, Friendship, Keys to Success, Wisdom, and Facing the Future.

Through a tunneling process, hopenet presents youth with biblical application to their life problems. The site takes the Bible application and then presents youth with the ability to search for local resources dealing with their needs or to learn more about Jesus and His plan for their lives.

Don't forget, on Wednesday night @ Revolution we will begin a series focused on "HOPE". I hope to see you there!
