“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1c).The month of November will be very different and exciting for Revolution Student Ministries. Every aspect of our ministry will be targeted with our theme The Amazing Race. Our goal is to raise the awareness of racing the gospel around the world through Speed The Light (STL), Campus Missions, and our summer mission trip.
Our Wednesday night student services will have a bit of a different look and feel as we will group students into teams to compete in various races and tasks. Students will be given reward tickets for every task they accomplish. Some of the tasks include attendance, bringing first time visitors, winning a race, and bringing STL offerings. Each ticket is an opportunity to win a weekly prize of CDs, DVDs, movie tickets, and gift certificates; or the grand prize at the end of the month - $100 cash!
Some of the extra activities included with this month’s theme are our STL banquet (Wednesday, November 16th @ 6:30pm) and our annual Turkey Bowl and Scavenger Hunt (Saturday, November 26th, 1pm). Bonus tickets will be given out at both events (especially to students whose parents participate).Join us all month long for an amazing race that you will never forget!
