Four?

What I wouldn't do to actually get a "four" on the golf course once and awhile. I realize that I haven't been golfing for almost 3 years, but still...I can't really be this bad. My handicap is up to about a 24. My long ball is short and rarely in the fairway. My short game is off the charts...or should I say, off the green. Worse of all is my putting.

Today for example, I shot a 57! I think only two of my drives were in the fairway. I was on the green in regulation on maybe three wholes, but of course I didn't par any of them. The closest I came was a boggie 5 on a par four.

Thank God we have fun though. I golfed with Pastor Meyer, Pastor Ray, Rick (something) and John Deep today and we had a good time. Pastor Ray and I both struggled the whole way through, but the others didn't do to bad. John almost took Rick's head off on the third tee. Wow, was that close!

I'm golfing again tomorrow at a Pastor's fellowship thing. I sure hope I do better than today. It's not very fun embarassing yourself infront of your peers. Oh well, I'm sure it will be a good time.
