It may been raining for most of our weekend at Youth Advance, but I can'r remember when I've had more fun. We only took 7 students, but it was a great time on fellowship and challenge as our students get ready for another year of school.
You'll hear more about our trip on Wednesday night at our student gathering, bu here are some of my highlights.
1. Great times of bonding with Sean, James, Adam, Kevin, Tim, Katie and Caitlin. You guys are awesome. I so appreciate our time to just relax and be ourselves.
2. Favorite Quote from Jeroy Carpenter: "The purpose of life is to have a life of purpose."
3. Favorite memory: watching our student praying together around the altar as a group.
4. Least favorite memory: train reck! Ask the guys because I don't remember.
5. Funniest moment: conversations with donald duck in the guys dorm, & Kattie Twigg looking for the writing on the wall.
