Sigh

I'm not sure about you, but I had a jam packed weekend of fun! Thanksgiving day was our family day of building legos, watching movies and of course eating turkey and pumpkin pie! I'm very thankful for my wife and kids! They are my JOY!

Friday morning came early - very early - as I ventured out @ 4AM to catch all the Black Friday sales. I stood in line at Sear to get a $10 gift card to use on a special gift for my wife. Shh, don't tell her. Then I went to half a dozen other stores to do my part in spending $2.9 billion in one day. Did you know that retailers make 40% of the yearly sales in that one single day? That's what I heard on the news anyway.

Saturday was also an early morning for us Hot Wheels collectors - it was Kmart Exclusive Day. We took the whole family in search for the exclusive Kmart paint variations and Treasure Hunt cars to add to our collection.

Saturday afternoon was our first annual Turkey Bowl flag football game. We had over 35 people show up and played some very competetive football. We played for 2 solid hours and realized that we have some gifted athletes in our group. Chris Smith was the player of the day with Michale Vick like quarterbacking skills.
Later that afternoon we took 45 people to the Mall @ Robinson (Pittsburgh) for a scavenger hunt and shopping time. We will announce the winners at the Speed The Light banquet, Wednesday night.

Sunday was a busy day as well with small groups, church, drama practice, a video shoot, evening worship and then snack-n-yack at Leighann's house. No wonder I'm a little tired.
