Spolied Milk

From birth, we enjoyed the benefits of milk. We put milk in our cereal, it used to make ice cream, and we drink almost every day. Milk is a good source of calcium, vitamin D and other nutritious supplements. However, if milk is past it's due date, don't drink it!

Wednesday night @ Revolution we are going to talk about Milk - yes milk! We're even going to play some games with milk. Dont worry, we won't ask you to drink a gallon of milk in an hour just to watch you throw up.

We are going to focus on the Peter's words from the Bible when he said, "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk so that by it you may grow up healthy in your salvation."

Just like mom forces you to drink milk so that you'll grow up big and strong (like me), Peter knew the benefits and necessity of spiritual milk to help us grow. We need to feed on the things of God - the Bible, prayer, and involvement in church. These things not only supply us with spiritual nutrients, they help us to filter out the impurities of the world around us.

Do you crave "pure spiritual milk"? Anything less is spoiled milk. You don't want to really drink that do you?
