What’s going on in New England? The Patriots are undefeated and look unstoppable behind Tom Brady’s arm. After a dramatic come from behind series against Cleveland, the Red Sox are in the World Series for the second time in 4 years. With the dynamic trio of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, the Celtics are favored to win the east.

Maybe it’s in the water? Then again, maybe it’s team work – the selfless determination to win. Maybe it’s the coaching - leadership. More than likely, it’s a combination of both teamwork and leadership. Teamwork is built on trust – trusting your teammates as well as your leader (coach). Teamwork is being able to agree on the difficult decisions for the good of the team, not an individual. Teamwork is being able to keep the end result in mind and willing to work hard to get there. Teamwork is about sacrifice rather than self gratification. Teamwork…it’s not easy, but it’s rewards are sweet.
