My Hero
(Part 1)

This three part series is a project my 10 year old son, Jordan, did for school. He wrote this and mailed it to me last week. Thanks Big J.

How many times have you heard people say heroes have to have superpowers to be a hero? Well I do not think that is true. I think any ordinary person on this planet can be a hero. For example think of my teacher or my dad. They do not have to save lives to be a hero. They can (be) just an ordinary person to be a hero, and they don not have to have superpowers to be a hero. My dad is my hero for many reasons. He possesses several qualities that make him my hero including godliness, athleticism and kindness.

Godliness is one quality my father possesses. He uses it for many reasons, including teaching kids, teens and adults the importance of knowing God and accepting him into your heart. He also uses it for his job which is a pastor. He also has done many miracles and water baptisms. In conclusion, his godliness has led him through a lot of things, (which) is one reason why he is my hero.
