Incredible Interns Over the past 12 weeks of summer break, I have had the privilege of working with twelve incredible high school students in our internship program. These twelve individuals sacrificed their time and talents to share in the pursuit of our church mission, to lead people into thriving relationships with Jesus Christ.

These unique students from left to right are:
Fabian, Anthony, Valerie, Briana, Chad, Lauren, Dakota, Jonathan, Colton, (the old guy is me), Odus, and Karina. (Megan is missing from the picture.)

These students have experienced so much together this summer. They’ve had peaks and valleys, but they persevered. They served, they learned, they overcame.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” (v12)
