A revolution is birthed in DOING!

Every revolution starts with someone who simply rises to the occasion to blaze a trail in leading others in change, progress, a better way. They are the ones who simply get fed up with compromise and hypocrisy. They no longer accept mediocrity as the expected norm for their generation. They have a Popeye moment as Bill Hybels puts it in his book Holy Discontent.

These revolutionaries then purposefully step in the middle of a rock and a hard place and go public with their values, their ideals, and their message, so that others can see that there is a better way.

It’s not rebellion against the established government for power or position. It’s not an arbitrary fight for the sake of selfish gain or pleasure. It’s about the pursuit of spiritual freedom and independence from the tyranny of sin. It’s about having more of an impact on the world than the world is having on you.

Moses had his staff, Martin Luther had his 95 Theses, Joan of Arc had her sword, Dr. King had his “dream”. What do you have? Be a revolutionary!
