Reality: School
Well, it looks like summer vacation is over. It's back to class, homework, reading, reports, tests, and wonderful cafeteria food. What a drag. Then again, maybe not. There are ways that we can approach the reality of school and actually enjoy it.

1. LEARN. Did you know that your teachers knows more than you? Teachers aren't on this planet just to make your life difficult. They really want you to learn and be educated so that you can make the most of your life. So learn. Learn as much as you can and realize that it is an investment in your future.

2. LIVE. I know that a school's major function is to educate, but it is also a place to have fun experiences. If you go to school with an attitude of "Man , this is such a drag", yeah, it's going to be boring! But if you go with the anticipation of having a good time, chances are pretty good that you will. School is not prison! Live it up at school. Laugh with your friends. Join a club or a sport. Have fun and live!

3. LOVE. School is definitely a place where you get to know other students from different walks of life. Enjoy and embrace those differences. Build some friendships where you can invest in the lives of others. Don't be a "taker". Give something back by sharing your life with those around you. Just keep in mind to be careful not to be influenced by the wrong crowd. Love unconditionally, but use some common sense when it comes to who you hang with.

The reality is you can't get out of going to school. You can however, get the most out of it by approaching it with a possitive attitude. Learn. Live. Love. It's the only way you will be able to look back one day and say, "Wow. That wasn't so bad."
