In my spare time I have really enjoyed getting back to one of my old hobbies, collecting Hot Wheels cars.
I have about 40 out of the box cars from when I was a kid, another 25 out of the box on display, and I also have about 270 still in the box that I've collected over the past 7-8 years. Most of them aren't worth much but once in a awhile you'll come across a rare one that's worth $4-$60 dollars. I collect them mostly because I think they look pretty cool, but also because I'm a creature of habbit. Collecting things keeps me stable.
If you have any Hot Wheel cars (or other diecast cars) from when you were a kid, they may be worth something - maybe not. As with any collectables, there are price guides and experts that can help you find out if they're anything worth holding on to. If you have any and you're interested in getting rid of them, let me know. I would gladly accept your donation to my collection.
