Spring Retreat by Pastor Ken Maxey

This year's spring youth retreat for Grace Evangelical has a new sight. This year we will be traveling to the great town of Fremont, Nebraska and staying at Camp River Crest. If you’d like more information on this camp you can find them on the web at www.camprivercrest.org, (402-628-6465).

me" shapes="_x0000_s1026" height="348" width="455"> The musician for the weekend will be Ian Cassler, who we had last year and did a wonderful job. Our speaker will be Pastor Roger Nelmes, who many of you know as the former youth pastor at Caring First. I have asked Pastor Roger to speak on the theme of “He (Jesus) must increase and I must decrease” (John 3:30). In speaking with him, I am confident that he has a message inspired by God and meant for every youth (and adult) who attends the Winter Blast.

To be a part of this weekend there are a couple of things you’ve got to take care of:

  • Turn in a Medical Release Form signed by a parent or guardian
  • Pay $75 if you are a regular at Grace or to these retreats
  • Pay $60 if you are a visitor to Grace or invited to the retreat

Fees cover meals at camp but not lunches up and back

Things to bring:

*Bible *About $10 to cover lunches

*Bedding *Flashlight

*Toiletries *Warm Jacket

*Old clothes to get dirty *Good Attitude

We encourage you to invite your friends and if you bring someone who has never attended a youth retreat before we will offer them a discounted price of $60. But please indicate this when signing them up for the retreat.

One last thing. If you are interested we have ordered 40 t-shirts specific to the Winter Blast. They cost $12 and you can order and purchase them at the sign up table.
