Seven Passions of a Revolutionary #2

We said that the first passion of a revolutionary was intimate worship - giving attention and devotion to God. Today we want to briefly look at the second passion - Faith Based Conversations.

It is very natural for people to promote and brag about the things they are passionate about. Whether it's a sporting team, our girlfriend, or the college we are wanting to attend, we like to share the details and give our opinions about them. For instance, although I'm almost 35 years old, I enjoy collecting Hotwheels cars and I'm not embarrased about it at all. I am eager to talk to people about my hobby and even show them the hundreds of cars I have in boxes.

What are you passionate about? Some folks are nuts about fishing, others love golf. Most women are passionate about shopping - especially for shoes! We all have our own passions and it's always exciting to share them with others.

So how do we show our passion for this revolution?
1. Share your personal testimony. We should all be pretty excited that Jesus has forgiven our sin and given us a new life - a second chance - so that we don't have to spend eternity in hell.
2. Low Key yet High Impact Conversations. There are oportunities to share the truth of God's Word right infront of our faces everyday. If you really think about it, every conversation can be turned into an oportunity to talk about God. Example: The DaVinci Code movie that starting today.
3. On the Spot Prayer. How many times a day do people tell you about their problems and situations each day? Those are opportunities! Stop and pray with them right then and there.
4. Campus Ministry. It is your legal right to meet on your school campus for prayer and Bible study. Is there a Bible club on your campus? Then why not start one? Get involved and make a difference.

GO & TELL!
