Sunday may have been Mother's Day, but it was water baptism night for two special students. Troy Wright and Christina Crothers were baptized in water to publically show the world their commitment to Jesus Christ. We are so proud of them!
My middle son, Jonathan, who is now seven, was also baptized Sunday night. I can't tell you the joy and excitment as a father to baptize my own son. He remembers asking Jesus into his heart two years ago at Caring First Church. He understands water baptism and how it symbolizes the death and resurrection of Christ. He knows that he is in a covenant relationship with Christ similar to the covenant of a husband and wife. Did I mention that he's seven.
