We're So Proud

Well, it's that time of the year again when we honor our students for their accedemic and athletic accomplish
ments as they close out yet another year of school. It's hard to believe that another year of education has come and gone for our students. Of course I'm sure that they are happy that's just about over! :)

On Sunday night we had a sepcial celebration for our high school and college graduates. We honored them with a small token from the Student Ministries and I shared a message to encourage and challenge them as they move forward in their lives. Below are pictures of our high school graduates and highlights of their accomplishments.




Michael Duffee, Neshannock High School, competed 4 years
in cross country (10th in the state two years in a row), President of the Bible Club, and plans of attending Edinboro College to major in business.






Carlee Scalfari, New Castle High School, National Honor Society, Presidential Fitness Award (top 10%), Church choir and worship team, plans on attending Anderson University to major in business and sacred music.







Justin Smith, Laurel High School,
four year letterman and captain of the football team, 3 year letterman in track and field, plans on attending Mount Union College to play football and major in elementary education.




Austin Taylor, Laurel Hhigh School, valedictorian, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Against Destructive Behavior, Varsity Baseball, plans on attending Penn State University to major in economics.


John Wright, Shenango High School, track and field, Helping Hands, plans to take a year off and then possibly join the Air Force as an assistant chaplain or meterologist.



Shannen Nealy, New Castle High School, Flag Line, Spanish Club, Powder Puff Captain, Service Learning Center, National Honor Society, Who's Who Among American High School Students, Student Ministries Drama, Fine Arts, Leadership
Team, plans on attending Valley Forge Christian College to major in early childhood education.





Jonathan Campbell, Neshannock High School, 6th in his class, National Honor Society, Bible Club, Church orchestra, student ministries tech team, plans on attending LaTourneau University to major in electrical engineering.
