It Is Finished!
This has been one of the most power-packed weeks of summer camp I've ever experienced! The morning teaching times were thought provoking, the prayer time was intense, the worship was deep and intimate, and Reggie Dabb's messages were penetrating! Last night's service didn't end until 10:45pm. I wonder what would happen if I didn't let out our students on a Wednesday night until 10:45pm?I challenge anyone who reads this to read Hebrews 6:1-12 and check back the next couple of days for my thoughts on the passage. It is a powerful in-your-face scripture that will change your life.

Train a child in the way you would have him grow, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 (my paraphrase)
I, too, run a children's ministry. I meet my congregations on an inner-city school playground every Saturday. We sit on carpets rolled out on the playground and worship the Lord with song, prayer, Bible Stories and life lessons. Then we have meal, say one last prayer and part for the week.
