Summer Camp Day Three

It's hard to believe, but there is only one day of camp left. Everyone is realy having a blast. I've reconnected with some pastors that I haven't seen for years. Dave Twiss, senior pastor @ Green Ridge Assembly, is the camp director this week. Dave and I go way back. I used to sleep on his couch over the weekends for almost a year. He actually performed our wedding cerimony as well.

Bernie Elliott, another old friend, is the National Bible Quiz man and turned some of our students on to BQ! It looks like we might have a team this season. Samantha Brown said that she would love to coach.

We've spent some time connecting with sports as well. We've played basketball the past two days and have learned quit abit about each other. Things like, Shane doesn't pass the ball, Troy doesn't talk much, Jimmy never jumps, and no one likes to play defense.

The food has actually been pretty good. I have been very impressed with the selection and well balanced meals. Todays lunch was pizza and it was great. The onion rings were spicy as well.

Chris and I went golfing this afternoon as well. Man was that course a mess. It's so dry and hard that you ball goes a mile, but the greens were very unpredictable. I shot my usual 57 and Chris put up a 67.
