Winter Retreat Night One

Our drive was a bit snowy but we made it to Carlisle in great time. After eating at Panera Bread we registered and got setteled in our dorms. It was great to connect with some old friends and meet some new ones too.

The service was awesome! Worship was led by Chad Fisher and his group from Lancaster. They are tight! We worshiped our guts out and still wanted more. Sean, the guest communicator, did a great job relating to the students. I loved his point from Matthew 4:18-21 about calling the first disciples. He called them to leave their nets and follow him.

His point was that some people when they're called hold onto their nets and let them drag behind. They don't let go of the former life and it drags them down. That will preach! Let go and quit dragging your net behind you. Go all the way with Jesus or don't go at all.
