I can't wait for Wednesday night at RSM! We are going to pig out on some of the best ethnic food your taste buds have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. What am I talking about?Wednesday night at 6:30pm we are having our annual Speed The Light missions banquet in the Summit. We will be sampling some special dishes from various countries where we have missionaries stationed to spread the good news of Jesus. Every banquet table will represent a specific country and missionary. In fact, one table will represent the country and missionary that we will be working with this summer on our missions trip (July 10-17, 2006). We will announce the surprize details at the end of the night.
We also will be continuing our Amazing Race theme and giving out a ton of tickets which will give you more chances to win the many prizes as well as the grand prize of $100 cash! Wednesday's prizes include movie tickets and the music DVD "This is Solid State" that you all have been watching in the Oasis! You get one ticket for coming, 10 tickets for every first time visitor, one ticket for every dollar given to Speed the Light, and five tickets if you're at the table representing the destination of our summer missions trip.
